The single most important ingredient to expand the kingdom of God on earth is one Christian sharing his faith with another and challenging another potential disciple to live as Jesus taught and exemplified during His life on earth. It seems the most organized churches never get to this stage of “making disciples of all nations.” The tactic of Jesus was to zero in on one potential disciple at a time and to affect that man’s life so powerfully that he would drop everything he was doing and follow the Master wherever he led. Why doesn’t the twenty-first century church see this truth? For some reason many churches are loosing members by the thousands. Maybe it’s time to get back to the basics? We are not really seriously committed to the pattern of discipleship Jesus taught and lived. Fellowship is not the answer, developing relationships over a meal once a month is not the solution, mentoring is not the cure, attending seminars or workshops on discipleship won’t do it, so what will transform and ignite an anemic, lethargic church?
If you are interested in discovering the answer to these questions, get the book. There is at least one community in Southwest Georgia that is being impacted by the power of the Holy Spirit as never before, and God is changing lives one man at a time!
