The Apostle Peter had a sit down with Jesus.  Peter no doubt, was still reeling emotionally from his denial of Christ.  As they sat there, Jesus asked him some touch questions.  They were questions that cut to the heart of Peter's commitment and his submission to Christ.  Questions that Peter needed to resolve before there relationship could grow.  Jesus wasn't interested in punishing Peter for his sin, but in restoring and preparing him for greater service.  As you have your own "sit-down", be prepared for the fact that He has an agenda. 

He may ask you some tough questions.  Like Peter, endeavor to stay in the conversation and face the questions.  Allow Jesus to point out the areas of your life that are not yet submitted to Him and listen for His answers.  He has a call on  your life and He wants to prepare you for it.  So, pull up a chair.
